Stellantis Leads EU30 Hybrid Car Sales in the First Quarter of 2025

AMSTERDAM, April 28, 2025 – Stellantis closed the first quarter of 2025 as the leader in hybrid car sales across the EU30 market, driven by strong performances from the FIAT Panda and the PEUGEOT 208, 2008, and 3008 models. The company achieved a total market share of 17.3%, up from 17% for full-year 2024, marking its best quarterly result since Q1 2024.
Stellantis continues its dominance in France, Italy, and Portugal. In France, four Stellantis models ranked among the top six, with the PEUGEOT 208 at number one. In Italy, Stellantis claimed four of the top five spots, led by the FIAT Panda. In March 2025, Stellantis placed three models among the top five in the B segment and secured top positions in both B-SUV and C-SUV categories with the PEUGEOT 2008 and 3008.
The company also reinforced its leadership in the EU30 light commercial vehicle market with a 30.2% share, increasing to 31.5% in the electric segment. Stellantis Pro One leads in eight of the top ten markets.

“We are fighting for the top spot in Europe,” said Luca Napolitano, Commercial Operations Officer at Stellantis. He highlighted the success of newly launched models like the Citroën C3 Aircross, Opel/Vauxhall Frontera, and FIAT Grande Panda, as well as the company’s expanded hybrid offering. Napolitano also pointed to record order intake in March and the strongest order portfolio in the past 10 months, reinforcing Stellantis’ strategic growth outlook.
