Saudi Charity Unveils Dialysis Unit with Stunning Kaaba View: A Lifeline for Patients

Riyadh

A Saudi charity has launched a pioneering initiative, the first of its kind in the non-profit sector, by equipping the first kidney dialysis unit overlooking the Grand Mosque in Mecca.

This initiative comes in line with the objectives of the Vision 2030 Program and aims to enhance the quality of life for kidney patients during their pilgrimage. The new unit provides comprehensive healthcare services with a unique view from the Clock Tower.

Through this initiative, the Berekom Charity seeks to expand the scope of services provided to pilgrims.

Hisham Shali, Chairman of the charity’s Board, explained that this unit allows patients to perform their rituals with ease and care while receiving the service in a well-equipped place with a distinguished view in front of the Kaaba.

The new center is the charity’s second, after the Shuaqiyah center, which provides 82 daily dialysis sessions to Mecca residents, pilgrims, and visitors.
