Omio Partners with České dráhy to Expand and Enhance European Cross-Border Train Travel Options

Omio Partners with Czech Rail Operator to Expand European Train Booking Options
Omio, the global multimodal travel booking platform, has entered into a new partnership with České dráhy, the national railway operator of the Czech Republic. The collaboration enables Omio users to book a wide range of České dráhy services, including Regio, InterCity (IC), EuroCity (EC), and high-speed Railjet and Comfortjet trains.
Starting this September, the full inventory of České dráhy routes will be available on Omio, significantly enhancing cross-border and domestic rail connectivity for both international tourists and Czech commuters. Travellers will be able to book seamless journeys between major cities in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Slovakia, Hungary, and Poland, as well as access routes to Czech destinations such as Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Plzeň, and Český Krumlov.

“This partnership marks a major milestone for Omio and is a key piece of the puzzle for a complete European multimodal offering,” said Veronica Diquattro, Omio’s President B2C and Supply, Europe. “International travellers now have even more seamless access and choice to explore the continent by train, further enhancing their travel experience.”
Petr Vondráček, Director of the Passenger Transport Business Department at České dráhy, welcomed the collaboration, saying: “Through this partnership, we are opening up to a wider group of customers and making it easier for them to plan and carry out their journeys both within the Czech Republic and abroad. Our shared goal is to promote train travel as a modern, eco-friendly, and user-friendly mode of transportation across Europe.”
The move reflects rising international demand for cross-border rail options, according to Omio’s data, and further cements the platform’s position as a leader in European travel. In 2025 alone, Omio has added over 60 airline partners and hundreds of ground transport providers. Its global network now spans trains, buses, flights, ferries, and airport transfers across Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia.
