Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich combines timeless elegance, exceptional modern design, and
legendary service. In addition to the 44 rooms and 36 suites elegantly designed by the
celebrated Parisian interior designer Tristan Auer, guests can embark on an elevated culinary
journey as a magical rooftop bar and two innovative restaurants leave no culinary wish
unfulfilled and contribute to Zurich’s rich range of gastronomic offerings.

The hotel’s ORSINI restaurant, featuring a menu curated by Antonio Guida, chef at two
Michelin-starred Seta at Mandarin Oriental, Milan, presents authentic Italian cuisine with a
modern international approach led by Chef de Cuisine Dario Moresco and Sous-Chef
Gianmarco D’Alonzo. GaultMillau’s Editor-in-Chief, Urs Heller explained: “If you want to be
our ‘Hotel of the Year’, you have to impress us with your cuisine. Dario Moresco and
Gianmarco D’Alonzo are doing an excellent job and have started their Swiss career with 16
points.”

The Savoy Brasserie & Bar, with its charming summer terrace, has quickly become Zurich’s
go-to meeting place for international guests and locals alike. GaultMillau awarded it 15 points
for its cuisine celebrating sophisticated global flavours that combine Mandarin Oriental’s Asian
heritage with local Swiss influences and a Mediterranean touch. Executive Chef Benjamin
Halat, who joined from the legendary Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok, has crafted the menu.

A top floor bar has been a tradition at the hotel, which was formerly known as the “Savoy”,
since back in 1838 when it was one of the world’s first rooftop bars. Today called “1838”, it
offers magical views of the city and lake, along with a tempting menu featuring cocktails,
mocktails, selected wines, champagnes and sake, accompanied by Asian-inspired dishes.

In celebration of the recognition from GaultMillau, Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich now
invites guests to enjoy its “GaultMillau Hotel of the Year” offer. It features exclusive benefits
