Lancia Ypsilon Shatters Records in First Half of 2024

Lancia Ypsilon is ‘waving goodbye’ to the Italian market as best it can: the car has beautified the roads of Italy and has truly played a leading role in the first six months of this year, racking up extraordinary figures for the brand. Lancia ended the first half of the year with 24,709 registrations, a 3% increase in volumes and a market share of 2.8%, in line with last year’s performance and confirming its position as one of the best-selling cars in its segment.
This month, the iconic car is making way for its successor the New Lancia Ypsilon, the first car in the brand’s new era that is enjoying great success among the general public and the international press. Available with a 100% electric motor or hybrid engine, the New Lancia Ypsilon is offered in three different trims with mid-market price positioning, benefiting in full from current government incentives. Plus, a few weeks ago the new car featured at the first Open House event at the 160 Casa Lancia dealerships in Italy, collecting over 4,000 expressions of interest and large numbers of positive opinions after the initial test drives, which highlighted its unrivalled qualities of handling, efficiency, and performance.
All the new showrooms have been renovated with the new Lancia Corporate Identity and ensure an increasingly premium customer experience, partly thanks to the renewal of the sales force, made up of dedicated and certified Lancia salespeople. Visiting these exclusive spaces will also provide the opportunity to discover the unmissable promotion that makes it possible to get behind the wheel immediately, benefiting from new government bonuses. For example, when trading in a vehicle type-approved up to Euro 2, there will be access to the government bonus and to purchase the New Lancia Ypsilon Ibrida version1 for monthly installments of €130 for 36 months.
