Lancia Returns to France: Introducing the All-New Ypsilon

  • With the unveiling of the New Lancia Ypsilon, today Lancia is officially back in France.
  • The New Lancia Ypsilon will be available in hybrid and 100% electric versions with a complete, versatile and efficient range, formed by three trim levels.
  • The New Lancia Ypsilon leads the B premium hatchback segment, thanks to its exterior lighting system, best-in-class in terms of technology and extent, thanks to its parking assist, dual 10.25” segment-leading display surface area, and Level 2 autonomous driving, all as standard.
  • The model, in its electric version, boasts a maximum range of up to 403 km in the WLTP combined cycle, best-in-class in the B premium hatchback segment, and can run 100 km with a charging time of less than 10 minutes.
  • Free2move Charge is supporting the new Lancia Ypsilon with a complete and integrated ecosystem for customized charging and energy management, accessible to all Lancia customers through simple and competitive solutions.
  • On the occasion of Lancia return to France, the brand will be opening its first showroom “Casa Lancia – Paris La Défense”. By 2025, Lancia will have a distribution network of 25 showrooms, together with 80 after-sales service points.
  • The New Lancia Ypsilon range is now available with a list price starting from €24,500 and with a financial package in collaboration with Stellantis Financial Services, starting from € 195 per month, including a warranty for the entire period of the contract.
  • Today Lancia is also unveiling to the French market the New Lancia Ypsilon HF, the high-performance version of the first car of the brand new era, as well as the Lancia Ypsilon Rally 4 HF, the model with which the brand will officially return to rally in 2025 in Italy.

“After the official presentation of the NEW LANCIA YPSILON EDIZIONE LIMITATA CASSINA last February in Milan, today marks another important day in Lancia Renaissance plan, with the return of the brand in France through the presentation of the car in the country. The New Lancia Ypsilon is the first of three new models in the brand 10 year plan and marks Lancia return to Europe. The brand internationalization process is part of a solid and ambitious roadmap, in line with Stellantis “Dare Forward” strategic plan, which aims to make of Lancia a desirable, respected and credible brand in the European premium segment.” stated Luca Napolitano, Lancia brand CEO.

“Today, we are delighted to have Lancia back in France with the New Lancia Ypsilon. Two the criteria that guided the selection of the European countries where this iconic brand will be returning. The first is the love for Italian products, with France at the top of the list with Spain and Belgium. The second criterion is the size of the B hatchback premium segment, where France is one of the top countries on the list. Lancia has always enjoyed great popularity in France, partly thanks to the wide range of iconic models chosen by Italian actors, fashion lovers, and rallying enthusiasts,” stated Alain Descat, Premium Cluster Director, France.

New Lancia Ypsilon range will be available from a list price of €24,500 for the hybrid version. The list price of the electric version starts from €34,800. For both powertrains, customers will be able to take advantage of a financial offer in collaboration with Stellantis Financial Services, with a monthly installment of €195 for 36 months for the hybrid version and 24 months for the electric model with a governmental incentive of 4.000€. At the end of the contractual financing period, customers will be able to keep the car by paying the remaining balance, which will vary depending on the trim level, or can return or exchange it for a new model.
