- Jeep’s positive 2024 performance sees over 132.000 units registered and a solid 1% market share in Europe.
Jeep® announces its participation in the Brussels Motor Show 2025, from January 10 to 19, where the brand will exhibit some of the most iconic cars of its range. For the occasion, the Jeep Avenger 4xe The North Face Edition – the new entry in the Avenger range – in its launch color, will make its premiere, honouring the adventurous collaboration between the two brands and designed to tackle the toughest challenges.
The Avenger BEV version – the first full-electric SUV of the brand – will be exposed in its Summit version with the livery in Sun with Volcano roof. This vehicle, an authentic expression of the brand’s attitude, represents a further step in Jeep’s pioneering electrification journey and blends features inherent to Jeep’s DNA: capability, style, functionality, and technology. The last of the Avenger models exposed is the e-Hybrid, with the 1.2T MHEV engine and the latest automatic 6-speed e-DCS6 dual-clutch transmission featuring an electric motor. Furthermore, visitors at the BMS can gaze at three other iconic Jeep models: the Jeep Renegade and Jeep Compass in the North Star special edition, together with the unmissable Jeep Wrangler in the Sahara version, a true icon of the brand with a 4xe (PHEV) engine.
Eric Laforge – Head of Jeep Brand in Enlarged Europe has commented: “The Jeep product strategy fully fits with industry dynamics and market pace. It prioritizes customer needs and makes stronger our presence in Europe while building a strong foundation for future growth”.
Not by chance the range displayed at the Brussels Motor Show summarises the brand’s strengths. Indeed, the event is an occasion to highlight Jeep’s 2024 performance, coming from positive results across some of the main markets in the enlarged Europe. By the end of December, Jeep registrations in Europe reached over 132,000 units, representing a 2% increase compared to 2023. Of these registrations, 83% were facilitated through Jeep’s dealer network, with 50% of sales attributed to private customers. These outstanding results reflect Jeep’s growing presence outside Italy, the brand’s home market, and strong performances in markets such as France, which registered over 12,000 units, and the United Kingdom, where registrations tripled compared to last year, overpassing 9,000 units.
The Jeep Avenger continues to set new benchmarks, with more than 140,000 customer orders since its launch. Electrified versions of the model account for a significant 50% of sales, combining full-electric and hybrid variants. In Italy, the Avenger has consolidated its position as the best-selling B-SUV and the third best-selling model overall. It also ranks as the fourth best-selling B-SUV BEV in Europe, supported by strong performances in France and the Netherlands.
Looking ahead, the Avenger’s success will be bolstered by the introduction of the new 4xe version in 2025. This addition will make the range one of the most comprehensive, offering three powertrains, two transmissions, and two drivetrain options, ensuring greater freedom of choice for customers. Deliveries of the 4xe version will begin in April, starting with the exclusive North Face Edition, limited to 4,806 units.
Meanwhile, the Jeep Renegade and Compass continue to play a pivotal role in the brand’s sales volume. The North Star special edition of these models celebrates one million units sold in Europe. This edition combines style, sophistication, and durability, featuring a two-tone color scheme, durable materials, and hybrid powertrains, alongside premium features such as a dual-pane sunroof, roof rails, and advanced parking assist.
The year 2025 will also mark the introduction of the all-new Jeep Compass, designed to reinforce the brand’s success in the competitive C-SUV segment. This new model will feature a multi-energy platform, offering BEV, PHEV, and hybrid powertrains with ranges of up to 650 km on electric power. It will retain the legendary Jeep capability across the lineup and showcase an iconic and functional design that ensures a commanding road presence.
Following the Compass launch in mid-2025, Jeep will launch the Wagoneer S, the fastest 100% electric SUV ever created by the brand. This premium model will deliver up to 600 horsepower and achieve acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 3.5 seconds. The Wagoneer S will embody Jeep’s DNA with distinctive features such as trapezoidal wheel arches, a modern LED 7-slot grille, and advanced Selec-Terrain 4×4 technology. A panoramic sunroof and a sophisticated design will further elevate its presence, making it a leader in its segment.
While, by end of the year The Recon will be unveiled. A mid-sized 100% electric SUV, Recon celebrates the “rough side” of Jeep and boasts remarkable off-road capabilities. Inspired by Wrangler’s heritage, the Recon will deliver open-air freedom and unparalleled outdoor experiences with customization options synonymous with the Jeep brand.
Jeep’s product cadence and diverse range, position the brand to meet current and future market demands effectively. In the B-SUV segment, which accounts for 21% of the market, Jeep anticipates retaining one-third of pure thermal engine sales by 2026, while continuing to offer diverse thermal options for the Avenger. In the C-SUV segment, representing 25% of the market, pure thermal engines are expected to decline to 10%, prompting Jeep’s investment in BEV, PHEV, and e-hybrid technologies for the new Compass. For the D-SUV segment, where electric vehicles are projected to comprise nearly 50% of sales by 2026, Jeep is prepared to meet demand with the Wagoneer S and Recon.
With an unwavering commitment to innovation, capability, and electrification, Jeep is well-positioned to lead in every segment it competes in, offering customers the freedom to explore with iconic vehicles that blend style, technology, and adventure.
