Hyundai Wins Eight Honors at 2025 International Design Excellence Awards

Hyundai Motor Company has added to its global design accolades with eight honors at the 2025 International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA), underlining its commitment to innovation across vehicles, spaces, and services. The recognition spans multiple categories, including automotive, environments, commercial design, and service.

Organised by the Industrial Designers Society of America since 1980, IDEA is one of the world’s most respected design competitions. It evaluates entries based on innovation, user benefit, and social impact.

In the Environments category, the CX Smart Farm at the Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS) won a Silver award. The Na Oh restaurant, also located within the HMGICS facility, was named a Finalist. Both projects showcased Hyundai’s brand storytelling through innovative spatial design within a manufacturing context.

The CX Smart Farm, described as the world’s first interactive, robotics-based smart farm, also received the Curator’s Choice Award—an honor bestowed on just one project annually, regardless of category. This is Hyundai’s second consecutive win of the prize, following its 2024 award for the Hyundai Heritage: Retrace Collection Book ‘PONY’.
