DS Automobiles Unveils Its Latest Creation with an Impressive 750 KM Range

Development of the future DS Automobiles model is progressing. Over fifty pre-production vehicles, covered in distinctive camouflage, are entering a new phase of testing on French roads.

The design embodies charismatic styling, aerodynamic precision, avant-garde technology, and unparalleled comfort—key pillars that shaped this creation. DS Automobiles redefines the SUV class by crafting a new design language that maintains the successful attributes of SUV Coupés while introducing innovative elements.

The exterior design reflects the dynamism of premium SUVs while integrating the demands of a fully electric powertrain. With an optimized wheelbase, a recessed windscreen, and a lower-positioned bonnet, the model achieves aerodynamic efficiency, delivering a record-breaking 750 km range on the WLTP cycle.

To maximize aerodynamics (achieving an exceptional Cx of 0.24), every body component was tested in a wind tunnel. Active air intakes in the lower front bumper enhance cooling while improving overall performance on highways.

The front showcases a high-tech aesthetic with vertical DRLs flanking the DS PIXELVISION lights. These elements enhance the model’s light signature, a hallmark of DS Automobiles.

The proportions redefine the SUV Coupe concept without compromising the SUV’s core strengths. Premium craftsmanship ensures exceptional comfort, with a thoughtfully designed driver’s seat that enhances the driving experience.

Further aerodynamic enhancements include sculpted rear wings and three-dimensional taillights with a vertical signature to streamline airflow.
