Augusta Convention Center Elevates Guest Experience with Noventri Digital Signage

Augusta Convention Center Streamlines Operations with Noventri Digital Signage Upgrade

The Augusta Convention Center has modernized its digital signage system with a hospitality-focused solution from Noventri, aiming to enhance both internal efficiency and the guest experience. The upgrade includes a new wayfinding totem and a complete overhaul of the media player infrastructure throughout the facility.

Directly connected to the Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center, the downtown venue now benefits from a fully integrated system that eliminates the daily disruptions previously caused by outdated technology. The new setup, designed specifically for the demands of hospitality venues, has resolved persistent technical issues that once required daily manual reboots.

“Since the installation, we haven’t had to reboot a single device,” said Blake Chambers, Director of Event Technology for the Convention Center. “This has allowed us to reclaim hours every day and has significantly enhanced the reliability of signage across the facility.”

Founded in 2013, the Augusta Convention Center is a key venue in Georgia’s hospitality sector, offering over 100,000 square feet of event space, including a 40,000-square-foot exhibit hall and a restored historic cotton warehouse. Its riverfront location in downtown Augusta makes it a prime destination for regional and national events, particularly during the Masters Tournament.

The new signage system is integrated with Marriott’s CI/TY property management software, allowing real-time updates for meetings and events displayed across the facility. This upgrade not only improves information accuracy for guests but also lightens the workload for staff.

“Hotels and convention centers have enough to manage,” said David Linetsky, Founder and CEO of Noventri. “Our job is to make digital signage one less thing they have to think about.”

Alongside the infrastructure update, the addition of a Noventri wayfinding totem further supports guest navigation throughout the center.
