Accor Expands Luxury Hospitality in Rajasthan, Blending Cultural Riches with City and Nature Retreats

Accor and Sukhani Ventures today announced the arrival of two of Accor’s most iconic luxury brands – Raffles Hotels & Resorts and Sofitel Legend – in the vibrant Rajasthan region of northern India.
Raffles Ranthambore will be an ultra-luxurious 63-villa resort nestled in the heart of the renowned Ranthambore National Park, attracting families, intrepid adventurers, and wildlife enthusiasts. Just 130 km away, Sofitel Legend Sukh Bagh Jaipur will offer over 300 rooms in an urban haven located in the Kukas Amer region of Jaipur, ideal for events, weddings, and seminars.
Raffles Ranthambore will open in mid-2027 and Sofitel Legend Sukh Bagh Jaipur in late 2028.
“ We are honored to partner with Accor to bring these exceptional resorts to life in Rajasthan – iconic locations that will become destinations in themselves ,” said Vikram Sukhani, Chairman and CEO of Sukhani Ventures.

“ Raffles Ranthambore will offer a one-of-a-kind luxury experience, combining glamour and adventure with legendary service. Sofitel Legend Jaipur, meanwhile, will bring its own unique story to the Pink City. We look forward to delivering two distinct hotel experiences in one of the world’s most dynamic regions and exploring new development opportunities. ”
Raffles Ranthambore will be nestled in the majestic landscape of Ranthambore National Park, a former hunting ground of the Maharajas of Jaipur, now a world-renowned nature reserve. Between tranquil lakes, savannahs, palaces, and ancient ruins, the setting is ideal for animal lovers, photographers, and explorers in search of Bengal tigers or soaring eagles. The resort will feature 63 villas, including 15 luxury tented villas, family suites, and a sumptuous honeymoon suite. Designed by IDEAS Architects and Jeffrey Wilkes, the resort offers a sensory immersion where the spirit of safari meets the timeless magic of Raffles—with its renowned butler service, iconic Long Bar, and strong connection to local culture.
“ We are delighted to expand our presence in India with Sukhani Ventures, bringing the iconic spirit of Raffles to the spectacular setting of Ranthambore. This extraordinary location, where history blends with nature, is ideally suited to embody the brand’s legendary hospitality ,” said Omer Acar, Managing Director of Raffles Hotels & Resorts. He added, “ With bespoke programming, ultra-personalized service, and a design that pays homage to the grandeur of the region, Raffles Ranthambore will deliver an unforgettable experience. ”
Nicknamed the “Pink City” for the inviting color of its historic facades, Jaipur is one of India’s most popular destinations, forming the famous “Golden Triangle” tourist route along with Agra and Delhi. Located in the Kukas Amer region, Sofitel Legend Sukh Bagh Jaipur will welcome locals and travelers for weddings, large-scale events, and business trips. True to French elegance, the hotel will combine the opulence of Jaipuri culture with modern luxury in a refined ambiance. The estate will span 21 hectares of landscaped gardens, featuring bridle paths, elegant pools, 260 guest rooms, and 41 suites. With over 6,500 square meters of event space, it will be able to accommodate several large events while maintaining the intimacy and sophistication characteristic of Sofitel Legend.
“ The signing of Sofitel Legend Sukh Bagh Jaipur marks a key milestone in our development: it is our third Sofitel and the very first Sofitel Legend in India. This hotel will embody the French elegance and the power of historical storytelling, specific to our collection of iconic places where history is written every day ,” said Maud Bailly, General Manager of Sofitel Legend, Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems.
“ After Hanoi, Cartagena and Aswan, Jaipur will be the setting for our next chapter for Sofitel Legend. We are proud to partner with Sukhani Ventures to bring this project, combining royal heritage and contemporary luxury, to life .”
