FIAT Secures Top Position Among Stellantis Brands, Leading Markets in Brazil, Italy, Turkey, and Algeria
- In Brazil, FIAT is market leader with a market share of 20.9%, confirming the Fiat Strada as the undisputed best seller in the segment, as well the current leader of the entire industry.
- In Italy, where the brand dominates the market with 11% of market share, Fiat Panda is the most sold car, and thanks to Ducato and Doblò models, FIAT Professional leads the Commercial Vehicles market.
- FIAT keeps its leadership also in Turkey with 11.5% MS as well as in Algeria with 60% MS. The bestsellers of these markets are respectively the Fiat Tipo and the Doblò.
In the year of its 125th anniversary celebrations, FIAT consolidates its leadership thanks to the significant results achieved in the first eleven months of the year in its domestic markets in South America, Europe – despite the challenging transition time – Middle East and Africa. The Brand, in fact, leads in its four “domestic markets” with a share of 20.9% in Brazil, 11% in Italy, 11.5% in Turkey and 60% in Algeria.
Olivier Francois, FIAT CEO and Stellantis Global CMO stated: “Over the past eleven months, we have worked diligently to maintain our global relevance and consolidate our position as the number one Stellantis brand by volume. In 2024, we strengthened our leadership in Brazil thanks to a structured and fresh lineup, along with new launches. In Europe the FIAT lineup is in a challenging transition phase, with several models discontinued mid 2024 while Grande Panda and 500 Hybrid are yet to arrive in 2025. Despite that, FIAT remains the leading brand in Italy, driven by the strong performance of the Panda and our leadership in the commercial vehicle sector, where FIAT Professional and the Ducato continue to excel. In Middle East and Africa we have also kept our key role in Turkey and in Algeria.”
Brazil
FIAT dominates the Brazilian market and records the highest annual volume in the history of the pickup segment, with more than 182 thousand units registered and an actual segment share of 42.8%, where the Fiat Strada is the leader with over 128 thousand units sold.
