On the occasion of FIAT’s 125th Anniversary of its founding, FIAT celebrates the intertwined bond with the Piedmontese Capital through the partnership with “Turin Capital of Business Culture 2024,” promoted by the Turin Industrial Union. Within this partnership, FIAT supported the “Cinema: che impresa!” conference at the Heritage Hub.

The conference was centered around Industrial Cinema history and reflected on its evolution since the beginning of the twentieth century through images and videos.

The brand has an indissoluble bond with the film industry, as both were founded in Turin and have been associated with the city ever since. Indeed, with FIAT being interested in technology since its origins, the connection with the Industrial cinema was unavoidable: the company immediately started using audiovisual technology for commercial and institutional purposes. However, the main feature of Industrial Cinema at that time was its scope, which was not limited to showing and selling the product, but most importantly was aimed at illustrating what was behind a company.

FIAT celebrates its 125th Anniversary by partnering with "Turin 2024 Capital of Business Culture" and supporting the "Cinema: Che Impresa!" convention, highlighting cinema's industrial evolution.

Once audiovisual technology was established, FIAT wanted to proudly produce its “homemade” movies and founded its Cinefiat production team to create the Brand’s movies. The aim was to promote the excellence of products by also promoting the operation and the international outlook of the company.

On the 125th anniversary of its founding, FIAT is proud to support the “Turin 2024 Capital of Business Culture” initiatives like the “Cinema: che impresa!” conference to recall its strong connection with the business culture and the Industry Cinema in a city that fully represents both elements. Among the participants, Stefano Serra, AMMA President – Turin Industrial Union; Elena Testa, Head of the National Archive for Industry Cinema; Giampaolo Letta, President of Unindustria’s Film Impresa Award; Gloria Giorgianni, Anele SRL’s CEO. Furthermore, Roberto Giolito, Head of Stellantis Heritage, and Maurizio Torchio, Director of Centro Storico FIAT represented Stellantis’s world.
