La Spezia, 25 July 2024. Baglietto, the historic shipyard based in La Spezia , confirms its ambitious delivery result for the year: in fact, the La Spezia shipyard has delivered five boats to as many owners at the opening of the 2024 summer season . After the T52 Ark of Fate , the yacht that won the prestigious World Superyacht Award 2024 in the “ Displacement Motor Yachts 499GT and below , 45m and above ” category and which is currently sailing in Asia , the 2 DOM 133 motor yachts Barbara Anne and Astera and the 2 T52 Akula and Infinity were also delivered .
A production milestone of great importance for the shipyard, made possible by the great commitment that the company has invested both at an organizational and infrastructural level: “in recent months we have grown as a workforce both in the production and technical fields ” confirms Diego Michele Deprati, CEO Baglietto “ and we have invested a lot in the shipyard’s infrastructure, expanding its surface area and increasing its efficiency. These days, among other things, we are completing all the tests to make the B-Zero green hydrogen station operational, aimed at creating clean energy through fuel cells . It is only the beginning of a process that the company has chosen, years ago now , to follow in the name of sustainability and innovation, and which will see further developments in the coming years”
It has certainly been a year of great commitment for the shipyard, which has demonstrated solidity and great organizational capacity without which it would not have been possible to achieve these goals. Now our satisfaction is knowing that our owners are happy to be able to enjoy their holidays on board one of our yachts, ” comments Fabio Ermetto, Chief Commercial Officer of Baglietto , “ while waiting to deliver the last 2 T52 hulls planned for this year.”
