“China’s EV innovation is sailing to the world, and Leapmotor is proud to be at the helm of this movement,” said Tianshu Xin, CEO of Leapmotor International. “Today, with great partners such as Grimaldi, our presence spans more than 30 countries, with over 1,500 sales and service outlets worldwide, cumulative deliveries exceeding 800,000 smart EVs.”

The Grimaldi Group has been a logistics partner to Leapmotor since 2022, offering secure transport capacity of 22,500 Car Equivalent Units per month from Asia to Europe.

Leapmotor International, a 51/49 Stellantis-led joint venture, began European operations in September 2024 and is rolling out its products to markets across Asia-Pacific, India, the Middle East, Africa, and South America.

The Grimaldi Group, founded in 1947, operates a fleet of more than 130 vessels serving 60 countries, specialising in maritime transport, port operations and logistics, with a focus on environmental and safety standards.
